Erin is a pure joy, a delight to all who know
her. She's a cornerstone.
Erin was diagnosed with MS in November 2003, at
the age of 27, after experiencing skin numbness and motor skills difficulties.
MS may have slowed her ability to physically perform certain things
she might have otherwise wanted to do, but it has not stopped her spirit.
Erin's fight represents a group
of normal folks, who have joined together to participate in three locally
organized events of the Georgia Chapter of the National Multiple Schlerosis
Society. Every year we participate in the Walk MS in Atlanta's Piedmont
Park and in both of Georgia's Bike MS tours: the Atlanta-to-Athens
Tour in April and Bike MS Atlanta in September. For more details on
these rides, see our events page.
We're not a company or an organization that makes
profits. Instead, our goal is to get people involved in raising support
for the National Multiple Schlerosis Society either through participation
or through monetary donation. All donations gathered to directly to the
National Multiple Schlerosis Society.
From our first event as an organized team -- the
2004 Walk MS -- through our most recent event, Erin's Fight has raised
over $150,000. We need your help to keep the momentum going!
Erin is truly thankful for your love and prayers.
